BALASRASWATHY to cater the demand of industrial & institutional catering and to provide best class of hygiene food and timely service to the dignitaries of Chennai City and suburban. Commenced in the year 2012 VAIGAI KITCHENS provides a wide range of Services in the field of Industrial Catering and Housekeeping in and around Chennai with vast experience staffs since its existence.

Health And Safety Policy Statement

1. This policy will say how, VAIGAI KITCHENS will manage its health and safety responsibilities.

2. We will manage health and safety by:

2.1 Controlling the health and safety risks at work.

2.2 Involving employees on health and safety issues that affect themhealth and safety.

2.3 Making sure that where employees work, and any equipment they use, is safe.

2.4 Making sure those dangerous substances are stored and used safely.

2.5 Making sure employees, especially new employees, have relevant information and training on Health and Safety.

2.6 Making sure employees can do their jobs, and are properly trained.

2.7 Trying to stop accidents and work-related health problems.

2.8 Regularly checking that working conditions are safe and healthy.

2.9 Regularly reviewing this policy and making changes if necessary.

Our System Of Procurement Of Raw Material, Production And Transportation

Purchases & Distribution – We used to purchase quality dry store from much selected vendors and distributed to our other kitchens from our central stores at Poonamallee. Fresh vegetables shall be supplied directly to the kitchens from the vegetable market once in alternate days and/or subject requirement. The quality of dry raw materials and vegetables shall be monitored in every stage to ensure quality check.

Food Production, Transportation and Delivery – The preparation of food is supervised by qualified and experienced Managers in every stage of production. It will be ensured that the menu shall strictly be maintained and the packed food will be deliveredto the client’s dining hall within the delivery time stipulated by our clients. The cooked food shall be tasted by our supervisors before packing and transportation.

Housekeeping & Cleaning – The cooking area, vegetable cutting area, pot wash area, stores and other common areas of the kitchens shall be cleaned and up-keep after every batch of production. We strongly believe in hygienic and neatness would give healthy result.
